A new and advanced Trojan “Geinimi” has been found in Android devices. It has discovered by a Mobile Security Firm “Lookout”.
It’s Possible that Geinimi is the most complicated piece of Android malware. It has the ability to send your personal information to a remote computer without your permission and get commands from the remote computer, which allow the owner to control your Android Phone.
Apple’s iPad has been taken down by malware within a few weeks of it being in the shops. Security software firm BitDefender posted a warning about a new malware attack targeting Windows iTunes and iPad users. Mac users remain unaffected by this piece of malware.
This malware threat comes in the form of an unsolicited e-mail, have a subject line that says “iPad Software Update”. The email offer a link to keep iPad software updated “for best performance, newer features and security”. The web page looks like a legitimate iTunes download page.
