Twitter has reportedly re-designed its website to look more like its Android and iOS mobile apps.

Twitter announced via a single tweet that it’s rolling out a revamped look of its desktop website. The redesign aims to take on a more identical look to, its up to date iOS and Android apps. Without a doubt, it is a very excellent job of doing just that.

The company tweeted out a couple of pictures of the new revamped desktop design, which features an all new header bar with segments for your home feed, Mentions, Profile, Discover, and Direct Message. The compose button is also available at the top right of the screen, enabling users to rapidly compose a tweet from anyplace on the site.

The width of the timeline has become a bit bigger too, which would make image previews bigger. The latest design also lets users to add an accent color to their profile.

The company recently went public and revealed that 76% of its users are accessing Twitter from their Mobile devices, each month, which usually means that the mobile user interface, is now a familiar and favorite option of its more than 230 million powerful users list.

Overall, it’s a simple revision that will carry reliability in the design of Twitter across numerous platforms, an objective that’s been noticeable within Twitter’s team now more than ever. Since it’s a rollout, if you haven’t obtained the Twitter’s new look on your profile just yet, expect to have it soon.
