Google Chrome URL bar no longer shows http://

The most recent developer version of Google’s Chrome browser has introduced a quiet, but appreciable change. When you see some text prefixed by “http://” you automatically know that what follows is a web address, as defined by the Hypertext Transfer Protocol.
Google has removed http:// prefix from the recent developer version of Chorme, and simply displaying a URL as “glanceworld.com”. Here are some questions raised What happens in other cases for example where the scheme is https or FTP? For this reason, some individuals are actually reporting the feature as a bug.
Google Chrome 4.0 release with Bookmark Sync

After the Firefox’s latest beta, Google has also just released a new beta build of their Chrome web browser. Although still in development, this technology allows Chrome users to sync their browser bookmarks across multiple computers without having to manually recreate them on each machine used.
Google Chrome now has over 30 Million Users

Google’s Chrome is still on the fourth-place in terms of usage. The Google Official blog disclosed that they have 30 million active users.
Chrome shipped its first public release 14 months ago and has managed to achieve a pretty large number of users in that time.
