Google Apps Marketplace is an online store where third-party developers can sell their applications to the Google Apps users. The third-party developer application are integrated with Google Apps.

Google also collects a 20 percent cut of the revenue. More than 50 companies are now selling applications across a range of businesses, including: Intuit Online Payroll, Manymoon, Professional Services Connect (PS Connect) and JIRA Studio.

According to the Official Google Blog:

Once installed to a company’s domain, these third-party applications work like native Google applications. With administrator approval, they may interact with calendar, email, document and/or contact data to increase productivity. Administrators can manage the applications from the familiar Google Apps control panel, and employees can open them from within Google Apps. With OpenID integration, Google Apps users can access the other applications without signing in separately to each..

Some of the applications are free — for example, the Aviary Design Suite and the standard edition of SocialWok.

People who have downloaded the newest version of Adobe Reader for Windows or Flash Player for Windows from Adobe’s Official site are affected with this suspicious malware. The issue is resolved for any new downloads of Adobe Reader and Flash Player, the company said.

Adobe Download Manager is a tool that helps users to download the files from Adobe Servers. It is used one time per session and is deleted when the computer is restarted. Adobe recommends users to verify that a potentially infirmity version of the Adobe Download Manager is no longer installed on their PC’s by following instructions:

Ensure that the C:\Program Files\NOS\ folder and its contents (“NOS files”) are not present on your system. (If the folder is present, follow the steps below to remove).

Click Start > Run and type “services.msc”. Ensure that “getPlus(R) Helper” is not present in the list of services.

If the NOS files are found, the Adobe Download Manager issue can be mitigated by:

Navigating to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Adobe Download Manager, and selecting Remove to remove the Adobe Download Manager from your system.

Remember, Adobe warned of the infirmity in a blog post on Thursday, Feb 11, 2010.

It is being rolled out across 170 million Gmail accounts and other Google products globally. Google Buzz is a new way to start conversations about the things you find interesting – similar to status updates in Facebook or a tweet on Twitter.

Google Buzz has the five key elements:

Auto Following

Rich, Fast Sharing experience…

Support for public and private sharing….

In-box integration

Just the good stuff…

According to Google’s official blog:

Google Buzz is a new way to start conversations about the things you find interesting. It’s built right into Gmail, so you don’t have to peck out an entirely new set of friends from scratch.

If you think about it, there’s always been a big social network underlying Gmail. Buzz brings this network to the surface by automatically setting you up to follow the people you email and chat with the most. We focused on building an easy-to-use sharing experience that richly integrates photos, videos and links, and makes it easy to share publicly or privately (so you don’t have to use different tools to share with different audiences). Plus, Buzz integrates tightly with your existing Gmail inbox, so you’re sure to see the stuff that matters most as it happens in real time.

How to Use Google Buzz?

In your Gmail Inbox, you can see a new tab as “Buzz”. If you will click on that, you can see a text box with your profile. Write some text which you want to share with other people, that text will appear on the “Buzz” tab of your profile. You may choose to insert pictures or links thru the options provided at the bottom of the text panel. This “Google Buzz” window under Gmail will get updated with the updates from people whom you are following.

Do you think Google Buzz Change the Social Media Game? Share your thoughts.

The wait for Google Chrome for Mac users is finally over. Google has finally released the first official beta release of Google Chrome for Mac. Mac users can Grab’s the beta copy today and experience a web browser that runs web pages and applications with lighting speed. Google Chrome is available for Intel based machines running Mac OS 10.5 or newer – Leopard and Snow Leopard.

What Chrome does bring to Mac is exceptionally fast browser speeds. It also starts up quickly in under 2 seconds flat. Google also implemented some important to make Google Chrome a Unique Modern Browser i.e. Crash Protection. Google Chrome for Mac also offers the “Omnibox” instead of the standard address bar and search bar across the top of your screen. The Omnibox (as the name suggests) is one box that you can use for both searching and entering URLs.

Official Page

According to Google Chrome Official Blog:

We’ve been working hard to deliver a first-class browser for the Mac — it took longer than we expected, but we hope the wait was worth it! We wanted Google Chrome to feel at home on the Mac, so we’ve focused on uniting our clean, simple design with subtle animations and effects to create a snappy and satisfying browsing experience on OS X. As you might expect, the speed of Google Chrome for Mac is something we’re very proud of. If you have a Mac, try installing the beta and see how fast it launches — there’s hardly even time for the icon in the dock to bounce!

The list of these extensions are small as compare to what is offered by Firefox, but most users will want to try these extensions. Google is trying to play catch up with what Mozilla Firefox users have been using for years.

Google’s Chrome is still on the fourth-place in terms of usage with 30 million active users. Google Chrome browser is quick and their latest versions seems even quicker. An advantage for Chrome extensions over Firefox add-ons is that you do not have to restart Chrome after installing the extensions. To manage the installed extensions, just type chrome://extensions in the browser Address Bar and hit enter.

According to Google’s Chrome Official Announcement on the release:

Today, we’re really happy to release a beta of extensions that begins to deliver on our initial vision. Extensions are as easy to create as webpages. Users can install and uninstall them quickly without restart, and extensions have a great polished look that fits in with Google Chrome’s (Google Chrome) minimalist aesthetic. When developers upload an extension it is available to users immediately, with limited restrictions and manual reviews only in a few situations.

Please keep in mind that it is still in a very initial stage, so some features might act a little wonky. Currently, Google Chrome extensions are only available for Windows users and Linux builds of Chromium. Hopefully Mac support is not too far around the corner. Please make sure that you are using the Beta Version of Google Chrome with extensions enabled.

Watch this video for an explanation of how to manage and install extensions for Google Chrome:
