Google Apps Marketplace is an online store where third-party developers can sell their applications to the Google Apps users. The third-party developer application are integrated with Google Apps.

Google also collects a 20 percent cut of the revenue. More than 50 companies are now selling applications across a range of businesses, including: Intuit Online Payroll, Manymoon, Professional Services Connect (PS Connect) and JIRA Studio.

Once installed to a company’s domain, these third-party applications work like native Google applications. With administrator approval, they may interact with calendar, email, document and/or contact data to increase productivity. Administrators can manage the applications from the familiar Google Apps control panel, and employees can open them from within Google Apps. With OpenID integration, Google Apps users can access the other applications without signing in separately to each..

Some of the applications are free — for example, the Aviary Design Suite and the standard edition of SocialWok.

People who have downloaded the newest version of Adobe Reader for Windows or Flash Player for Windows from Adobe’s Official site are affected with this suspicious malware. The issue is resolved for any new downloads of Adobe Reader and Flash Player, the company said.

Adobe Download Manager is a tool that helps users to download the files from Adobe Servers. It is used one time per session and is deleted when the computer is restarted. Adobe recommends users to verify that a potentially infirmity version of the Adobe Download Manager is no longer installed on their PC’s by following instructions:

Ensure that the C:\Program Files\NOS\ folder and its contents (“NOS files”) are not present on your system. (If the folder is present, follow the steps below to remove).

• Click Start > Run and type “services.msc”. Ensure that “getPlus(R) Helper” is not present in the list of services.

If the NOS files are found, the Adobe Download Manager issue can be mitigated by:

• Navigating to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Adobe Download Manager, and selecting Remove to remove the Adobe Download Manager from your system.

Google held a press event to announce the most “buzzed” topic of the week – Google Buzz. This is Google’s new product, which is being compared to social networks like Twitter and Facebook. It is being rolled out across 170 million Gmail accounts and other Google products globally. Are Google and HTC about to challenge both the iPhone and the Apple tablet, rumored to be called iSlate? HTC are also the company behind Google’s Nexus One SmartPhone (said to be launching on January 5th).

According to Australian Publication SmartHouse:

HTC, who have been working closely with Google for the past 18 months have several working models of a touch tablet including one model, is based on the new Google Chrome Operating System say sources.

An Android based device which is set to be shown privately to core HTC customers at the CES Show is set to incorporate new Qualcomm processors, touch technology and new software from Adobe.

Presently, it will be available for the Nokia N900, but then also be used in other models. Fennec will synchronize with Firefox. That means any Web page to open the PC’s browser automatically opens in the version for mobiles. “At the end of the day you can go home and stay connected to your terminal,” said Sullivan.

Sullivan further added that the browser is presently in its final stages of testing and could be available for download prior to the end of 2009.

Fennec will compete with other browsers such as Opera, Safari and Windows Mobile. The Mozilla foundation aims to repeat the success that they have achieved with Firefox, the second in position and just behind the various versions of Internet Explorer (Microsoft).

Fennec can be downloaded from the Mozilla website and from Ovi, Nokia’s shop. It is developing a version for Windows Mobile, the mobile operating system from Microsoft. At the moment there is no version for iPhone, due to restrictions of Apple, which only allows using browsers that use WebKit, the basis of its.

The wait for Google Chrome for Mac users is finally over. Google has finally released the first official beta release of Google Chrome for Mac. Google’s Chrome is still on the fourth-place in terms of usage with 30 million active users. Google Chrome browser is quick and their latest versions seems even quicker. An advantage for Chrome extensions over Firefox add-ons is that you do not have to restart Chrome after installing the extensions. To manage the installed extensions, just type chrome://extensions in the browser Address Bar and hit enter.

Today, we’re really happy to release a beta of extensions that begins to deliver on our initial vision. Extensions are as easy to create as webpages. Users can install and uninstall them quickly without restart, and extensions have a great polished look that fits in with Google Chrome’s (Google Chrome) minimalist aesthetic. When developers upload an extension it is available to users immediately, with limited restrictions and manual reviews only in a few situations.

Please keep in mind that it is still in a very initial stage, so some features might act a little wonky. Currently, Google Chrome extensions are only available for Windows users and Linux builds of Chromium. Hopefully Mac support is not too far around the corner. Please make sure that you are using the Beta Version of Google Chrome with extensions enabled.
