An Apple iSlate vs Google Tablet battle might be about to start. Smarthouse, an Australian publication, reports that HTC is working in collaboration with Google on a Tablet.
Are Google and HTC about to challenge both the iPhone and the Apple tablet, rumored to be called iSlate? HTC are also the company behind Google’s Nexus One SmartPhone (said to be launching on January 5th).

Google release the Chrome Browser for Mac

The wait for Google Chrome for Mac users is finally over. Google has finally released the first official beta release of Google Chrome for Mac. Mac users can Grab’s the beta copy today and experience a web browser that runs web pages and applications with lighting speed. Google Chrome is available for Intel based machines running Mac OS 10.5 or newer – Leopard and Snow Leopard.
What Chrome does bring to Mac is exceptionally fast browser speeds. It also starts up quickly in under 2 seconds flat. Google also implemented some important to make Google Chrome a Unique Modern Browser i.e. Crash Protection. Google Chrome for Mac also offers the “Omnibox” instead of the standard address bar and search bar across the top of your screen. The Omnibox (as the name suggests) is one box that you can use for both searching and entering URLs.
Microsoft Office 2010 beta available for download from MSDN / TechNet

Microsoft has released the much awaited Beta of Office 2010 to MSDN and TechNet subscribers. If you are a subscriber, you can log into your account and can access the program in “Applications -> Office 2010” section. Office 2010 Beta is available as only Professional Plus SKU (32 bit and 64 bit variants) while Office Web Apps are available in x64 variant only for self hosting in corporate environments.

On November 9, 2004 the Mozilla project, lunched a new experimental web browser “Firefox 1.0”. Within the first four days of launch, more than 1 million people had downloaded a brand new browsing experience. Its aim was to reduce Mozilla’s bloat (if you remember those early days, the Mozilla Suite consisted of a web browser, mail client, news reader, IRC client; it even had a web page creator called Mozilla Composer), and it was an instant hit among users and developers alike.

Google Chrome 4.0 release with Bookmark Sync

After the Firefox’s latest beta, Google has also just released a new beta build of their Chrome web browser. Although still in development, this technology allows Chrome users to sync their browser bookmarks across multiple computers without having to manually recreate them on each machine used.
Google Chrome now has over 30 Million Users

Google’s Chrome is still on the fourth-place in terms of usage. The Google Official blog disclosed that they have 30 million active users.
Chrome shipped its first public release 14 months ago and has managed to achieve a pretty large number of users in that time.

How to Create user-defined RSS feeds in WordPress

If you need a custom RSS feed, like for example, a feed indexing only somes categories + tags, or if you redirected all WordPress RSS feeds to Feedburner but still want to be able to get a category feed, the solution is to use a page template.
Create a new file and simply paste the following code in this file. After pasting save it with the name “my-custom-feed.php” and save it in your theme directory.
