Mozilla released the beta 4 version of Firefox 3.6. The update contains over 100 fixes from the last Firefox 3.6 beta, containing many improvement for web developers, add-on developers, and other users. Almost 70% of the Firefox add-ons have now been compatible with Firefox 3.6 beta. You can also download and install the Add-On Compatibility Reporter and report to add-on author will appreciate it!

microsoft-office2010Microsoft has released the much awaited Beta of Office 2010 to MSDN and TechNet subscribers. If you are a subscriber, you can log into your account and can access the program in “Applications -> Office 2010” section. Office 2010 Beta is available as only Professional Plus SKU (32 bit and 64 bit variants) while Office Web Apps are available in x64 variant only for self hosting in corporate environments.

On November 9, 2004 the Mozilla project, lunched a new experimental web browser “Firefox 1.0”. Within the first four days of launch, more than 1 million people had downloaded a brand new browsing experience. Its aim was to reduce Mozilla’s bloat (if you remember those early days, the Mozilla Suite consisted of a web browser, mail client, news reader, IRC client; it even had a web page creator called Mozilla Composer), and it was an instant hit among users and developers alike.

Google ChromeAfter the Firefox’s latest beta, Google has also just released a new beta build of their Chrome web browser. Although still in development, this technology allows Chrome users to sync their browser bookmarks across multiple computers without having to manually recreate them on each machine used.

Google Chrome BrowserGoogle’s Chrome is still on the fourth-place in terms of usage. The Google Official blog disclosed that they have 30 million active users.

Chrome shipped its first public release 14 months ago and has managed to achieve a pretty large number of users in that time.
